Theatr Clwyd is a regional arts centre producing theatre 1 mile (1.6 km) from Moor, Flintshire, North East Wales. It opened in 1976 and is part of the County Civic Centre in County More (Yr Wyddgrug), next to the County Hall (the former administrative office of Clwyd Administrative County, now the Office of Flint County Council). It was built at the instigation of the former Flintshire Council before it was abolished in the 1974 local government restructuring and replaced by Clwydshire Council. Queen Elizabeth II inaugurated the facility, which was designed by George Roman. Toby Robertson was the theatre's artistic director from 1985 to 1992.

Theatr Clwyd Bursary Scheme Discounts

The entry fee for a seminar is £20, and joining the bursary scheme offers discounts of 25% off £15 per month, 50% off £10 per month, or full coverage at no cost. Theatr Clwyd provides discounts for group ticket purchases for schools. When buying tickets for a school, Theatr Clwyd offers one complimentary ticket for every 20 students attending specific performances. A 10 per cent deposit is required at the time of purchase to secure the tickets.
