They were originally a mail order company founded in June 1993 by John Moss in his idle bedroom in Whittle Le Woods near Chorley. A few months later, the company opened a store in Ormskirk, Lancashire. In 1998, they moved to a larger store in Leyland. From its initial focus on the British mountain bike market, in recent years, the company has transformed to provide the same services to the growing road bike market. In 2008, the company moved to a store, warehouse and office in Buckshaw Village in Chorley.
