Eventim Apollo is one of London's leading live entertainment venues and it's located in Hammersmith, west London, and is one of the largest and best-preserved original theatres in the UK. It opened on 28 March 1932 as Gaumont Palace Cinema and was designed in Art Deco style by renowned theatre architect Robert Cromie, who also designed the Prince of Wales Theatre in central London. It was designed on behalf of a joint collaboration between exhibitor Israel Davis and Gaumont's British theatre chain. It has 3,487 seats and the opening shows are Tom Walls' "A Night Like This" and Helen Twelve Trees in Bad Company.
